World Champ status for F3K

Following F3K becoming an official FAI class this year, it has now also gained WC status. First Euro Champs should take place in 2010 and Worlds the following year

2008 UK Eurotour

The F3K UK Eurotour is being held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May at Manningtree.Click here for map of site.

Contest Organiser and CD: Hayley Hawes

Contest Rules: FAI F3K Rules, any local rules will be announced at the briefing as well as the number of pilots eligible for the flyoff (minimum on the day 5)

Flying Tasks: Tasks and number of rounds to be flown will be announced at the briefing and can be subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Jury: A 3 member jury will be appointed at the briefing.

Schedule:

Friday

Field is available for setting up tents and practice flying. 

4-6pm Registration

Saturday (weather permitting)

8-9am    Registration and Transmitter Check

9.15am  Official opening & Briefing

9.30am  Competition

18.00pm End of first day

19.00pm Food and entertainment - glosticks are available for those wishing to midnight chuck!

Sunday (weather permitting)

9.30am Start of second day

14.00pm Fly-off

15.00pm Prize giving

Documents: UK pilots must present valid BMFA certificate. International pilots must present valid third party insurance.  FAI licence is requested.

Entry Fee: Senior Pilots - 40 EUR

                 Junior Pilots -  15 EUR

                 (includes evening meal on saturday)

Registration: Online registration is required.  Closing date for entrants is 7th May 2008.

International pilots can pay at the field but they must register online first.

Official Frequencies: 35 MHz Band A channels 56 - 90 EVENS ONLY + 2.4 GHz

Protest: The fee for a protest is 20 EUR

General: Camping is available on the field at a cost of 10 EUR per tent/family for the weekend.  Extra food is available at a cost of 10 EUR pp for saturday night.
